OUR STORY
Mohworks Films was founded by Australian filmmaker Michael O’Halloran to bring big-screen ambition to independent storytelling. The Brisbane-based company develops and produces original work for all screens.
Built on a background in award-winning short films, music videos, and commercial work, Mohworks is driven by a commitment to projects that combine the scope of mainstream cinema with the independence and authenticity of Australian filmmaking.
In 2025, Mohworks released its debut feature SPACE/TIME, distributed by Umbrella Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand. The film played to sold-out cinema audiences and achieved a successful VOD release, reaching number three on the Apple Sci-Fi chart in its opening weekend. SPACE/TIME will launch internationally through Epic Pictures in 2026.
With a growing slate of feature projects in development, Mohworks continues to pursue stories for both the big screen and the small screen, ambitious in scale and independent in spirit.
