Mohworks Films is proud to share that SPACE/TIME has been nominated for Best Sound for an Independent Feature Film at the 2025 Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards.

The nomination recognises the outstanding work of the film’s sound team and their contribution to bringing the world of SPACE/TIME to life.

Presented by the Australian Screen Sound Guild, the ASSG Awards celebrate excellence in screen sound across film, television and other screen media, recognising the artists and technicians whose work is essential to the way audiences experience stories on screen.

For a film like SPACE/TIME, sound plays a vital role in shaping both scale and tension. From the machinery of the experiment to the quieter emotional moments between characters, the sound design helps build a world that feels unstable, immersive and cinematic.

The nomination is a wonderful acknowledgement of the care and detail that went into the film’s soundscape. Every element – dialogue, atmospheres, effects, design and final mix – had to support the film’s balance of grounded drama and high-concept science fiction.
