‘SPACE/TIME’ RELEASES IN NORTH AMERICA

Mohworks Films is excited to announce that SPACE/TIME will be released across North America by Epic Pictures Group.

The Australian sci-fi thriller will be available from January 13, 2026, with audiences across the United States and Canada able to rent or purchase the film on video-on-demand platforms including Apple TV, Prime Video, Fandango at Home and other major digital retailers.

The release marks a major milestone for SPACE/TIME, an ambitious independent feature developed and produced through Mohworks Films. Written by Michael O’Halloran and Adam Harmer, and directed by O’Halloran, the film blends high-concept science fiction with character-driven drama, following a group of scientists whose groundbreaking experiment pushes them beyond the limits of morality, loyalty and human ambition.

SPACE/TIME delivers a gripping sci-fi spectacle of staggering visuals while quietly challenging us to consider how far humanity will go in the name of discovery,” says Epic Pictures Group CEO Patrick Ewald. “It is truly an ambitious and intense cinematic journey shaped by the remarkable vision of director Michael O’Halloran.”

The film follows a disgraced team of scientists who turn to the criminal underworld to rebuild a forbidden space-bending engine after a fatal test shuts down their project. What begins as a mission to save humanity soon becomes something far more dangerous, forcing the team to confront the true cost of obsession, discovery and scientific progress.

For Mohworks Films, the North American release represents an important step in bringing SPACE/TIME to a wider international audience. Produced on an independent scale, the film was designed to feel expansive and cinematic, combining large-scale visual effects, an original orchestral score and a bold genre premise with a grounded human story.

The production pushed the limits of what could be achieved with a small team and a fiercely independent approach. From its visual effects and post-production through to its score, design and release strategy, SPACE/TIME reflects the resourcefulness and ambition at the centre of Mohworks Films’ work – telling big stories with a strong cinematic identity.

At its heart, SPACE/TIME is about the danger and wonder of discovery. It asks what people are willing to sacrifice when they believe they are on the edge of something impossible, and whether the pursuit of progress can ever be separated from the people it leaves behind.

SPACE/TIME will be released across North America by Epic Pictures Group on January 13, 2026.
